Time: Be There Between 8:00am and 8:45am

Plans: We will hang around the Costco parking lot between 8am and 8:45am. At 9:00am there will be a drivers meeting in the parking lot, and at 9:30am we will head out for a drive up PCH and through the Santa Monica mountains. Maps and driving instructions will be distributed then.

Lunch: The drive will last approximately 1.5 hrs ? 2 hrs. At the end of the drive we will stop off for lunch at the Chili?s just off Ventura Blvd. in Encino.

After lunch, you are free to hang around and chat or take off, but that is the end of the planned meet.

Ya Doug, I realized when the date was set that it was going to be a conflict with that import motion show. Are we still doing the dyno day/bb weekend in february? I've still got the dyno reserved.

Holy sh*t that's right by my sisters house!

I'm gonna have to arrange to fly home that weekend, drive my car down to LA, goto the meet, take my car to Phoenix, and start doing some more stuff to it down here! I miss my car, and I've been planning on flying up to bring it down. This is a great oppurtunity.

Were still playing it by ear. AS of this moment I still haven't got my motor back from machine work.. if I have it friday (I HAVE to have it friday regardless) and the car seems to do ok, then yes maybe. Its hard to say.

I may come down in my s60... but thats no fun either. Basicly, I have a show all day saturday, I'd have to drive sat' night and get down there sunday morning.

its do-able... just not sure yet.

well crap .. looks like i won't be making it ... just found out that on my 90 it needs a new balancer so i raelly don't want to drive it that far w/ a balacer that's semi what slipping .. the $ i spend on gas and then food could be better spent buying a new balancer so bleh

oh well looks like i need to focus all my effort on the 91' for that april meet

Slugger,

There are a couple of ways to go. If you're going to stay on the 10, exit Lincoln and head south until you hit Washington Blvd. Hang a left and the parking lot is a few blocks down on your left.

If you want, you can go 10 to the 405 south and then take the 90(not 91) West to the end of it. At the end of the 90 freeway you continue on straight you'll hit Lincoln blvd. Go north a few blocks until you hit Washington Blvd, hang a right and again the parking lot will be on your left.

If you're comfortable with taking all of those side streets and trust mapquest go for it.

here's the map of the area from mapquest, you can play with the Zoom to see what I'm talking about. The biggest problem with this meeting location is that you cannot exit the 405 at washington Blvd.
