Hey Dan,
how did you plumb in the Porsche 993 CBV? My Pierburg is making bad sounds when coming from WOT to partial throttle. Any pics? Thanks man.

that's the wheel I want on my 740. What size and offset?
Big boxy wheel for a big boxy car... thats what I say!

Last I heard these Borbets weren't made anymore either. The guy I bought the wheels from got them with the car when he bought it all off the original owner, his car was a 94 or 95 and I couldn't find a 5th wheel for a full size spare from anywhere.
"780T" what is your email for the CBV plumbing pics?

Good lord Dan, I starting looking at those pictures of your "piston" and block.
Holy, bet that made a hell of a noise!

Yeah, it was still running, smoked and a flame or two shot out from the cowl area [pretty neat, i was pissed]. IT stail lran too, I opened my door and then I saw a big gear on the ground which i didn't think anything of, turned out it was my intermediate shafts drive gear
It was amusing, and upsetting and costly [that part came later]. Figure that one out 8)

Nice ride, mine will look similar in a few days. What size tire are you running?

The 17"s run a 215/45/ZR17, dunlops up front and bridgestone RE040s in the back.
The white 16s I have in the trunk have 225/50VR16 Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's.
Got any pics of yours? Seems like quite a few people in OH and the surrounding area, need to get a meet going.
What happened with ya? I emailed ya about those parts a few times.. :?:

I was just wondering if you've tried the 225/50/16's with that bodykit yet...I'm debating whether to go up from 205's and my only concern is that there may not be enough clearance between the front tires and the bottom edge of the kit when turning the wheel...any problems yet?
thanks,
Evan

I haven't run the 16" wheels with the kit, they were re-powdercoated and the tires are off. The 17s don't really rub at all, except maybe a little on the inner fender lining.

I appologise about that, I moved twice (due to a very bad circumstance) and was without the PC for a while. Then, my wagon was hit really hard and was in the body shop for a month. I wasnt sure if I was going to use the parts car for parts or transportation. I do not have any recent pics of the car. I blacked out the grille, headlight bezels, and am working ont he window trim (I love the bead blaster). I did have 17's on it for a few days, but I am putting the snows back on tomorrow. I am also hacking a coil and a half off my front Intrax springs, the car seems too low in the back and not enough up front.
