alrighty guys I want to get going with this. Throw down a date that works on the table. I NEED to know a week and a half in advance so I can take off work and/or make reservations at a resturant if needed.

For those coming from afar, my room when clean (and it will be, don't worry) can sleep 4-5; the family room can sleep about 13; if you want to come from PA or somewhere in that sort of radius, you're more than welcome to spend the night or even the weekend here; I'll have room.

I'm thinking mid jan-mid feb; post a date that works. I want to get as many people to come as I can; new england needs a good meet for once.

What's a sausage fest? Lots of ways to read that one

Anyways, Cullen, I should be pretty open to any dates in or after late January. Got any ideas about what we are going to be doing?

Are you still thinking of going to any of those wintercross things down in CT?

I'm surely hoping to make it to one of those. Dunno about this coming one though, I have a feeling it's going to be called off. :grrr:

Anyway, can you email your list of turbo/V8 guys with the thread link? I'll contact you by email with an initial possible date on that. In the mean time, c'mon guys. I have space for people to stay, so if you live >3 hours away, don't let that deter you.

Unless there is a freak storm between now and sat. I am sure wintercross will be called off this week . :grrr: :grrr: Oh well

Yeah, that lot must be pretty clear right now, and no snow in the forecast, oh well. I'm sick right now anyways, and I'm not sure I'd have the energy to go down there this weekend.

As for the list of local volvo guys, do you want me to email all of them, or just the younger guys who would be more likely to come and hang out?

Cullen give yourself ATLEAST a month notice for everyone else, you'll never get a good turn out otherwise

hey I'm willing to plan this as long as it takes to get a good turnout - if it means having it in march, we'll have it in march.

Dana - the ski/snowboard deal isn't a bad idea - wouldn't need to book anything at a hotel (unless people wanted to) as I live <2hr from several good mountains; I'll look into it.

It's been like almost 20 years since I strapped a pair of skis on, this might be interesting. My wipeouts received standing ovations :e-shrug:

acutally now that i think of it i really wanna go

umm.. i dunno date wise, u give the date and i'll work it out with my job schedule. otherwise in prolly wont be able to go to cuz they give me really random days and hours unless i tell them otehrwise.

by the way i live in north jersey and love to drive far so its all good

if people realy want to go sking i still have contacts at local (north conway) mountains and shops. i would suggest bretton woods if this is going to be a late winter early spring event. if we can get ten or more people i might be able to get a discount on tickets and rentals for thoes that don't have equipment. the only problem would be a place to stay as driving 2,3,4 hours ski all day and then driving home would suck.

whats the age on people going and date. my rents have a place in north conway but it would be on the fly cuz they would have to be there cuz tehy don' tlike the "kids" there alone with otu them they think we are gonna detroy teh place or something lol. anyways they are cool whenever i go up with my friends they hand me a key to teh house and go abotu there own buisness. but the other option is plenty of hotels up there. how many people going hell i know i fine with a floor lol. 5 people arom if 10 are going. man heven't snuck people into a 2 person hotel in a while might be fun :badboy: but hell keep me informed lol. maybe someone can help me finish hookign up my msd

whoops lost track of this thread

I'm not to keen on the bars idea, if we do that I'll basically be shut out of my own meet (i'm under 21)

How is march 13 for a date? we need to get something planned.
