Doing up the engine bay piece by pice as I come across spares
eventualy every part (sans long block components) will be done up

the colors I have picked are the fire engine red, the harly davidson black and the boeing industrial silver

Be careful when you work in the bay. Powdercoating doesn't like oil and random chemicals etc for obvious reasons.

the powdercoat thats being used is rated for use with chemical cleaners and any oil based product
or so says the company that's doing this stuff for me
(same people that do the work for Harly Davidson and Oshkosh fire trucks)

but you really gotta hide those big ugly blue hoses and tht brass T block thing.

awesome. i just spray painted mine..haha holds up pretty good.

how much was it?

and +1 on the hoses.. or just wipe them down with a lil bit o rubbing alcohol and armor all the black stuff.. it'll look 10000000 better
