September 1st and it's people's choice, so bring the yellows...

"The team at Northwest European is proud to present you with Eurofest NW 2007, an event that is open to all makes, models, and years of European cars and motorcycles. We held the first Eurofest event back in 2004, and while it was a successful event that was well received by the local enthusiasts, we have not had the time to keep it on the event calendar until 2007. It is back, so get your cars and motorcycles cleaned up and come out for a day with like minded enthusiasts!

Eurofest NW 2007 will be held in Bellevue, WA at the scenic Bellevue Community College campus. Come out for a relaxed day with other European car and motorcycle owners, and see what shows up. We anticipate some very unique vehicles that day!"

"Eurofest NW is open to all European cars and motorcycles. Below is a list of the current show car classes for the event. This list is the base that the official list will be built from, and the organizers of Eurofest NW reserve the right to adjust the classes as necessary on the day of the event.

Hey, its back. I went in 04 and it was fairly interesting (and I could care less about most VW's, which is most of the show). I think there were five Volvos in the show, one V8 700 series and four of IPD's project cars at their booth. It would be nice to see a good turnout.

I probably won't make it to this one as I should be out of town September 1st.

Come on guys!!

You've got the blue wagon w/ the white roof right? I've seen you rolling around Greenlake and I saw you parked one day on Roosevelt.

Too bad... I have another event scheduled on Sept. 1.

I think the OVT crowd should plan a caravan up there...

Bellevue, Seattle it's all the same thing. All of us VS guys will probably meet up at the NE 65th ST Park and Ride before hand and caravan over. Us volvo guys gotta stick together right?

Danny,

I suspect he'll be driving my '83 by then. Probably with no interior and turned into a rally car... I may go myself. Probably will be in a silver '85 245Ti with a metallic blue flathood and the GT front end that I used to have on the '83. It'll probably also be wearing a black roofus rackus.

Ah I was in Greenlake but I've just moved back up north to Lake Forest Park. I drive a red 93' Ford Escort LX right now! ;) Sold my blue '75 242..

Ah I doubt it'll be finished by the first of September. I've got a lot of research to do on this motor and even more work / $$ dropping. I'll probably roll over in my buddy's Audi 5000CS.

Hmmmmmmmm...... we could have a side contest within the competition for most non-working lights. There would be some fierce competition amongst the volvo crowd.

Maybe Ill show up with the GT

Luckily, all I gotta do is wire up the driving lights, and all of my lights work, except for the OD OFF light, which is disconnected, due to it being a M46 car, and the Lambda-Sond light... :-)

My seatbelt light, parking brake light, glove box light, left front turn signal and I am sure somthing else doesnt work. Damn volvos.

Ah, ok, easy fixes. WRT the seatbelt light, I've actually deleted it from my car, so I have more space for switches. The dinger is enough to provide a seatbelt warning. If ya wanted to drive the car up here to Duvall, I'd be willing to help get things working properly again.

Really? I could do that. My dinger doesn't work either.

Yeah, just delete the light. Lynnwood has a late '83 245 Turbo, which should be able to donate its dinger to replace the MIA grunter...

And after I made plans to cut my vacation short in order to get back for it too.
So how many of these have they actually held? Two? One in 03 and one on 04?

Looks like the 4th annual VOTG meet also got cancelled. So, there's talk over on OVT about going down to Tony's (Reeferman's) house/shop in Albany, OR for a BBQ and maybe a work day on Labor Day weekend...
