I actually like just the inside light taped on the top - it works pretty well. Gives it a good flow or something.

I have to say, I am growing fond of quad rounds. Don't tape them up, they look great as is. Making your car a sleeper does not necessarily mean it has to look like it's literally sleeping.

at an RC car shop you can buy "tint" spray which is basically a translucent black, and if iirc you can remove it from glass/ plastic using rubbing alcohol. (test that theory before going for it.) With that you can achieve the eyebrow affect, and still have visibility.

Here is the eyelid same style as the inner light. Also changed the hood color to body,

why are your pictures black and white btw? It'll be better to get the original color pictures to edit.
