I finally got around to taking pics of my car today. I accidentally brought my digicam along with me and figured I'd take some shots. Disclaimer: I took all these shots in about 30 seconds so I apologize for the bad photography... I suck, I know. Anyways, on with the show...

EDIT: Pics a few posts down.... THANK YOU Big Lan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

31mm front and 38mm rear spacers on ET49 Tethys will get you this... still not mean enough IMO.

Are your Tethys painted?

If not it's funny how the lighter cars make those rims look dark but on my burgundy 965 they look almost polished.

Car looks great though - super clean!

Minus the rack, plus blue interior, lowered to the ground and you have what I want mine to look like.

Sooo clean...the taillights really make a difference without the amber. And tethys just look awesome, especially on 245's.

Like with the Arrakis, I don't like them on the late model Volvos, but I love them on 240s.

Thanks for the kind comments... ;-)

For whoever was asking, yeah, the tethys are painted. What happened was that I bought them from a kid who had decided to paint over the original finish with some fugly grey primer to make them look more stealthy or whatever, but he had painted a thick coat of it right over the brake residue and oil.... so it was all peeling and stuff. It was a decent deal and the wheels werre all straight, so after some chemical paint stripping and some por15 "stirling silver" along with 2 coats of silver paint and 2 coats of clearcoat to smooth out the surface they turned out like that. They do sparkle somewhat, its just that the pictures were taken in a garage with poor lighting. The clears were bought on ebay... what I am looking for now is a sound system, but I think Ill wait until the turbo goes in so I can mount the 3 pod gauge up top and mount the head unit below.

Very nice man. So clean. Wishing I had your M47 in mine :-(. Keep us posted with your +t. The teethys look wicked on it.

The only thing I don't like is the 'S' exhust pipe. Chuck on a straight one mate.

Ya, I know... the exhaust is weak. When I do the plus T i will do a new 2.5in exhaust front to rear with a couple of dynomax mufflers. I was thinking of going 3in but it would be pretty useless since I dont plan on putting anything bigger than a 15g, and the initial setup will be a tiny little 13c anyways. The only thing delaying the job is the fact that the car is an M47, which makes the car completely driveable even with the weak NA motor.

Thanks. ;-)
I am not really happy with the way she sits, so, I was going to either drop the front another 1" or so, or raise the rear about an inch. Boston roads suck so I was thinking option 2.

not to threadjack (my 240 looks identical to yours, minus the rims and non-turboness), but what mufflers are a close to stock fit?

i dont like the S pipe on mine either ><
