I took a few shots of my '76 for the previous owner. Sure, they ain't artsy, but I was dodging trucks going 50 or so to take these. :-P
The p.o. was an older woman who bought the car new in '76 as her first car. When it turned 30 (and 96k), for some reason she decided to put it up for sale but she seemed really sad to see it go (tears and all). She had named it Victoria so I thought I'd send her a framed pic at some point.

Haha but seriously, that paint is incredible. Don't tell me it's original.

It is all original except for the roof. In '78 or so (she guessed), a small tree branch fell on the roof and insurance paid for it to be "fixed." Now the newer roof paint is completely screwed (I'll be getting it painted eventuallly). The good news is that I can see where the dent was faired in and it was only about 4in wide and right on the edge. Also, on the rest of the roof, I can actually scrape the repaint off with my fingernail and reveal perfectly good and shiny original paint :wtf:!

Her insurance must have cheaped out. Spraying right over the existing paint? :wtf:
