Mark your calendars for September 29th 2007, an event you won’t want to miss! The second annual Volvo East Coast GTG will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Phillips Volvo Virginia Beach.

FREE catered lunch buffet provided for all who come!

There are lots of activities for those who choose to make a weekend out of it, and Virginia Beach is having the Neptune festival, which will take place on the boardwalk and on the beach itself. There will be various bands and HUGE sandcastles that will amaze you.

We have reserved the Phillips lot from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Bring yourself, your friends, family and most importantly your Volvos. This is one event you don’t want to miss.

For purposes of directions, the address is 4980 Virginia Beach Blvd. 23462. All roads lead to Virginia Beach. When approaching from the west, the easiest routes are Interstate 64, U.S. 460 or U.S. 58. From the north and south, convenient routes are Interstates 85 or 95, U.S. 17 and U.S. 13 (crossing the world-famous Chesapeake Bay-Bridge Tunnel, a 17-mile span connecting Virginia's Eastern Shore with Virginia Beach [this has a $12 toll]). These routes intersect with Interstate 64, which connects with the Virginia Beach-Norfolk Expressway, Interstate 264, and leads directly to the Virginia Beach.

If you need a car wash, SSS cars wash is located directly across the street from Phillips Volvo Virginia Beach.

I will be coming with my wagon, new interior is all installed. Mike has the 242 back up and running and it will be there as well...we will not be able to make it unitl around 1:30 in the afternoon though, so hopefully you guys stick around for a while....

Dont know if anyone would be interested but there are a few spots(Jenros and Bass Pro Shop) where people meet up every saturday night, I think it would be cool if we rolled in with a bunch of volvos.

Thanks to everyone for coming out! We had a total of 46 cars show up! We are going to continue to do the event every year around this time of year.
