yea im down too, at the meet before the last we all decided that we were going to have a work day soon, and tony said he would host down at his place, so thats coming at some point. maybe we could get something together for some time soon, like a drive or something?

well we could do the 15th which is three weeks from today, or the 22nd, which is four. unless im wrong in speculating that sundays are best for everyone, because we could do sat. but prolly not till the 21st becuase the week before is v-day.

im coming, not sure on location, maybe meet at iPD and then go for a drive somehwere, we kinda did the gorge thing altho that is a cool place to go.

well my and 86volvo740gle were chatting about a few ideas on where to go, we both figure iPD is a good starting point because everyone knows where it is. we figured we have been to the gorge and to the beach so maybe to the mountian, the problem with that is the fact that its really weather dependent. he mentioned champoeg park past wilsonville. that would be kinda cool but also weather dependent. we could have a bbq and take plenty of nice pictures im sure. hopefully someone else can toss in a few more ideas.

I would like to do a work day in march maybe get a list going of what people want to do to their cars .I have a large variety of tools and equipment . I can’t make it the 22nd do to the seafood and wine fest in Newport .I’m a real big wine-o .I’ll start a post when I get a date for the WORK DAY.

that sucks tony, but yea we should definatly get a list going, should be tons of fun. as for location and such im not exactly sure, so far we know we want to meet at iPD, as its a good central location. from there we could do a few things. 1. drive to the coast 2. drive throught the gorge possibly to the mountain. 3. find some bomb ass park somewhere and take pictures and maybe a bbq. as for park ideas possibly mount tabor? there are a few parks in my neck of the woods (west linn area, south of portland) but none are extremely cool or anything.

Maybe we should come up with a wet option and a dry option. BBQ or a drive wouldnt be that great if it was raining. I cant really think of anything that would be though. Go karts maybe?

yea i hear theres this cool place in vancouver, suposed to be decently fast carts, and i think they give group discounts if we could confirm enough people going.

I always go to Hot Track up in washington. It might be the place you're talking about. They have commercials on WB i think. It might be a good rainy day plan if that what you guys want to do.

And if there are any F+Ters these guys need to show me whats what, because a work day sometime would be sick. So until further notice its the 22nd right at IPD?

yea and just to warn you it seems that with the exception of hot tracks, which im not exactly sure of right now, we are gonna go for a drive, which means beach-gorge-mountain, something like that. i believe tony mentioned something in march? or maybe april. something like that. i figure if he wants to host it we should be thankful and let him choose what ever day suits him.

im going but not till sunday... about ipd being open they are not on the weekends, so i doubt anything needs to be said to them, plus i think thier lot is gated so i dont think we will even be able to park there.... more so just on the streeet by the building

I'd be into some go karts, or a work day, but not really up for a drive. My 245Ti is in Idaho as well, but I do have a cool 03' turbo diesel jetta, if anyone is interested in spinning 205's at 1600 RPM in 1st/ 50 MPG :twisted: .

Alright I just called Hot Track in Vancouver. Prices are as follows:
16$ for first 8.5min race
13 for second and third
10 for fourth+

If we can get a group of 10 or more. Then we can get two 8 minute races for 31 a person or two 6 min and a 8 min for 36. I don't know how all those prices sound to you guys but I think that unless the weather is really awful I'd rather just go on a drive. Lets try to get a head count and cement our plans soon so if we really want to do this go-kart thing I can make reservations.

I will be there for sure. I am going to the Eurofest up in Seattle on Saturday, but should be back for a sweet cruze with the P-town turbo folk on Sunday. So, meeting at my work (IPD) at 11:00, decide where to go, and start boostin'! Sounds great.

I am in the final term of my undergraduate CS degree withj the senior project presentations are fast approaching and this project is taking a lot of my time. This weekend is especially needed to work on it and everything else due this coming week. Hope you guys have an awesome time, take some good pictures! A work day sometime next month or in April would be awesome! :-)
