And this is the 400 in the volvo, Following pictures show why i chose to go with small block (chevy)

In the next two pictures you can see how close the strater is to the steering u-joint and how there is No room to even run exhaust.....

the reason I chose to go with a chevy is shown in those pictures, the pontiac 400 is just too big with out major mods to the chassis. Plus a 305 or 350 is 75 to 100lbs lighter.
