Hey Everyone,
I Am swapping the original motor in my 1986 744 G2 GLE, B230F non Turbo, And I picked up another B230F, out of a 1988 244DL, now that the only thing left is crank it and see how it goes, no spark. I then noticed that my distributor on the 240's motor is a breakerless system and my 740 distro has a 3 prong plug for it, tying it into the breakers, I'm assuming that the 3 wires are: 1-Cam trigger, 2-Coil trigger, and 3-Ground. Now how in Gods green earth does one make a breakered ignition system work with a breakerless? Is it possible? Or am I going to have to redo the ENTIRE electrical system including the computer? I'm Volvoless right now and If anyone have ANY Thoughts, Ideas, guesses, comments, more questions about any other info you may need to offer advice PLEASE FEEL FREE to contact me via reply, email, PM... -hell, call my cell phone 24/7, I work days and nights and I'm losing more sleep every night over being Volvoless, and I'm on call all the time so I will answer...
