what color are you going to paint it? what paint? for my valve cover i used the metalcast series

same color I did my block

duplicolor high heat 1200 degree blue. its a matte blue:

just have to mask off the lettering so i don't ruin that nice polish I've got going on:-D

lol, I'd never seen that picture before, thats nice:-D I'm not doing shiny blue tho, so not so much copying.

as far as getting the black off, I just used paint stripper and 300psi pressure washer.

It's just the flash - it's high-heat dark Ford Blue. Thanks for the info on the (paint) stripper.

oh, okay:) my camera screws with the paint color too.

nah, i dont.

I'm also not done with the thing. probably have to wait till the end of this coming weekend before I have my finished product.

Damn that is a sexy blue! Almost as nice as the glossy chrysler blue I'm painting my valve covers/intercooler piping lol:-P
