well i've got 38rpms cranking with intermittent spikes up to 1700. here is my setup

v3 box running 029y4 MSnS, 60-2 flywheel, stock VR sensor etc. using 740atl's setttings [thanks!] and getting pretty tired of fighting everything and anything with my swap.

i've tried tried the trim pots and the switching the wires on the VR sensor, same ~38RPMs when cranking. my engine IS turning over pretty slow... but it is getting faster as things get worn in... my engine is a freshened up 1994 b230f with a 16v head [so... 10.?:1 180+psi], 140 starter [only one i have that works apparently], optima battery....

so does this seem resonable or am i trippin' thinking that 38 is really really slow. i mean it seems slow, but not THAT slow.

thoughts?

well the spikes you have say something is working incorrectly.
38 RPMS is like a crank of a really dead battery, one rotation every 1.25ish seconds... nein

proper air gap between sensor and wheel? hook a charger up that can do cranking and see what you get
