i run this odd ball ngk afx wb02 and megatune doesn't have it listed as an option.. in preparation for MS i went and set up an algorithm for it in megatune... went to lambdaSensors.ini and changed the parameters for WB_UNKNOWN and set that as my wb02.

the code needs to be:

#elif WB_UNKNOWN
afr = { egoADC * 0.027451 }
lambda = { afr / 14.7 }
TargetAFR = { afrtarget * 0.027451 + 9 }
TargetLambda = { TargetAFR / 14.7 }

i don't know if anyone cares but that would be how to integrate the crappy ngk wb02 into the option list. it is oddball because it does 0-5V but 9.0-16.0afr, where 4.07v is stoic... weird huh.

~$230 for kit including controller display.

Dude, It is by no means "crappy". I am sorry, but it is ,so far, my wb02 of choice. Not that this means much except I have used it on four different cars now and all are ms2 using target a/f tables. I like it because the display is no non-sence and it is relatively cheap compared to the other options. IMHO. I like the power-dex very much.

i don't dub it as crappy either but seems like the selling market has dubbed it as "crappy" i have no problem with it... did you use the same algorithm for yours?

should of gone lc1 pimp, go to the msextra site w/this question

i really dislike the the fact that it stops at 16:1.
LC-1 goes from like 7.8 to 22.x, if you're beyond that something is wrong, but 16:1, thats like slighty lean during a cruise

I just use the wb02 target a/f calibration in tools. set it to 0v=9:1 and 5v=16:1, It works very well. Then just give it more authority in ego control. Set the ignition step delay to 50-60. Then data log and run a ve analyzer. So far this has worked very well for ms2. I have also used a LC1 and a LM1 for this same set up with similar results. To me it makes sense to use the "cheaper one" if you are on a budget. Plus, I find the display to be ideal.

then you have ms2 right, i had to make a specific algorithm for ms1... it will work though. i could care less about being 16:1 or over... i never want to be that lean anyway for my purposes.

well, logworks3 and the megasquirt interface/logging is reason enough, and there are cheaper ways to get an LC1, and we still have the 35$ digital wideband displays, my lc1 did die though.....

can't i just log from the analog output channel on this ngk wideband i got?

yes you can datalog o2 w/the megasquirt, but lc1(lm1 too) comes w/it's own logging software(logworks), that will now take an input from ms and logg all the ms stuff too, and it has all kinds of graphing options and cool dashes and stuff

fixed :-P, btw did the MS box make it to the mail? :oogle:
