Well there is another one scheduled for 02/08. The same applies to this one, Jason and I both have helmets available to those who don't have one. People traveling from out of state can stay at my house Sat night for a GTG party and be fresh to go to wintercross 2 miles from my house. I am hoping for lots of snow and a good showing of bricks. As usual you may go to www.cartct.com to see details.

Budgt, Come on down anyway, it'll be a blast. Also if you want to come down on Sat You got a place to stay. BTW there is a pick n pay here locally that has a black 780 turbo with lots of good parts if you are looking for anything. Greg

Update; we have had plenty of snow this week and it looks like there will be no reason to call this one off. So who is coming this time?

Blackbrick
02-03-2004, 06:30 AM
There is supposed to be a rain/snow event today with warm temps  I hope it doesn't affect the base cover on the lot. On the bright side there is supposed to be snow on Fri. and Sat. If they call this one off, I am going to snap.

:-D Got E/mail from Rick at CART today, reads as follows;

Greg,

Since you had pre-registered for a wintercross date this year, I'm
writing
to you to let you know that the conditions look ideal for our event
this
Sunday, February 8th. And with more snow expected tomorrow, it only
looks
like it will get better.

We all look forward to seeing you Sunday.

Rick Alexander
Activities Director

Who's coming?

I just got back from the lot, there is still a lot of snow there. There is over 10" left right now and the rain is light and freezing making a crust over very dense snow. See you guys on Sunday.

Have fun guys, my f/ucking turbo went bad not even 5 minutes into the trip, so I had to turn around. If anyone has a turbo they could donate...

SOOO...the turbo isn't bad, it's just a leak of some sort making weird noises. See y'all on Sunday.

What an excellent time we all had yesterday! there were 4 t-brix on hand to represent the "volvo class" as cart now calls us. myself, John "project-coupe", Jason "applejuice" and Cullen were there. The course was very fast and lots o fun. There were some casualties though, Jason had to quit after a couple of runs due to a problem with his differential, I blew a headgasket on my third run and my car is down for the day.
You can see the results at www.cartct.com
There will be another one in two weeks I'll post to keep everyone informed.
I got lots of pics and I'll post some of them shortly on another thread, watch for it!

It lives! The head is as straight as an arrow and is well into being reinstalled. I'll be up and running tonight. While it's apart I'll be throwing my K cam and gear in. :badboy: Jason, I'm gonna make you work to keep that title. :-P
