hey quick question, what's that black strip right in front of the rear wheels? is that area prone to wear or something from passengers?

Very nice. I can't quite get with the rear window sticker, but hey...it's your car, not mine.
I really like the airdam and wheels.

The car is gorgeous! :hitit: I especially like the wheels. What brand are they? What size rim/tire?
volvofanatic
01-25-2004, 01:48 AM
They are called Dial Elysée and are 7½*17" and the tires are Falken FK-451 225/35-17. The rims are quite unusual, I´ve only seen them on one other Volvo besides mine and on 2-3 other cars.

What springs are you using?
The springs are swedish made Kilen (made by Lesjöfors) and the rear springs are cut one round. It gives a total lowering of about 60mm (almost 2,5").
Without cutting the rear springs I think the car tilts to much forward.
I´ve had thoughts about removing the window sticker so it might be gone til the sommer.

Very nice car! I like how you've painted the headlights black around where the reflector is attached, and I like the all red taillights. I've done the same to my car. I still want an 850R rear spoiler, however. Red is one of the best colors on a 240.

I bought them from guy selling them in an ad. They are made by a car audio dealer in Gothenburg Sweden. The are built in MDF-board.
I´m going to remove the cloth and put som black synthetic leather (vinyl?) on them instead. I think that they´ll look better with that.
Hi Patrik,
does the car audio dealer in Gothenburg have a website or an email address?
Was this a custom one-time deal, or is it something they make on a regular basis?
There may be a small market for these panels in the USA...
In your case, I think they'd look better with black vinyl than with cloth/carpeting.

I don´t even know which car audio dealer it was that made them.
It was the guy I bought them from that hade them special made at the car audio shop. So it´s a custom one-time deal, yes.
