tinted windows?

Just getting my 87 240 DL NA back from the mechanic, worn clutch and exhaust hole, im going to get my windows tinted, pretty basic, any %'s someone can suggest that i use which would look good, i have the blue greenish color car, or should i not tint them? just looking for some general suggestions. thanks

i know in VA, max tint is 50% light transmission in front, with 35% in the rear....check out tint laws and regulations at http://www.tintdude.com/
they have all the laws and stuff for different states and other cool stuff, even a message board

Do it yourself. Just installed tint on my 740 last weekend. Its a metalized tint. Even comes with the side windows if your feeling brave. Took me around 3 hours taking my time. Shipping was fast and professional with directions included. Highly recommened as the fit was PERFECT.

The guy is PRECUTTINTS on ebay.
Qoute around town was 180.00. My cost was 41.00 shipped.

I did my own tint.. if you can get a place that sells the tint pre cut then go for it.. thats the thing that can make a world of difference in the quality and time it takes to do it.. i had to cut my own and it took forever and was a real PITA.. I went with 20% all round which is nice and dark but not too dark.. but the next time i do it i'm going to go 5% for the rear/side windows and 35% for the drivers/passengers doors... Good Luck!
