From day 1 of my 780 on megasquirt I had a pull up resistor to 12v+ on the signal wire from the MS (F-idle) to the 124 module.

Somewhat recently I went to an MSD 6A so this is history. However, I'm megasquirting a Corolla and out of laziness / wanting to do it right I decided to just go with a 124 module on the Corolla since I know it works and I have a few extras.

So I've been looking around at people's diagrams and I'm realizing that nobody else had this pull up resistor. Are all you guys running inverted spark? WTF?

I wish someone could weigh in here with a definitive response as to why some have it and some don't

a) there's no resistor
b) its a 139 module

are you saying "quit whining and go get a 139 module?"
