Ive got an MSnS v2.2 board, Its never been a problem and has been in 2 cars. Noticed this, charging system voltage is cool 13.8, 14 ish volts. My battery cables were trashed, and i noticed when the headlights were on, and the voltage was slightly lower cause of the load, the car would run perfectly. turn them off and the voltage went up slightly, the car would run leaner and idle rougher. Now ive got new cables and voltage is higher now cause of all the good connections, at least 13.8 14v all the time, the car is most definatly leaner. Ive got an innovative wide band controller. As im writing about this issue i wanna say the ecu and wideband are not grounded in teh same place...either way

Do i have a bad ground screwing with the MS? or is my wideband miscalibrated due to a possible previous voltage problem? or do i have a ground issue with the wideband that threw off the calibration, and i tuned on the lean side rather than the rich side....Ill have to recheck where i grounded everything, but this is an odd issue...thoughts?

How do the plugs read?
What version of MS are you running? There's code that adjusts pulsewidths based upon voltage, and for a few msns-extra versions it was borked.

SHAZAM!! Looked at the MSEFI forum, found a thread about the battery voltage correction and my problem....changed it from .2 to .1 problem fixed! oiy, now on to more important things...thanks!
