View Full Version : Got some wheels...
... close friend of mine gave me a set of Old Gt Wheels with thread. The wheels seem to be in good shape, just not pretty looking.
As I understand they are 14''?
How should I paint them? thinking about making them look like ronals, but taking a second look, they don't look close at all.

are you sure those aren't 15" omegas?

that's offensive...
They are early GT wheels.
I will still keep the MSWs, but I want the Gt Wheels for "special" events, I have too much traction with the nitto 205's on the MSWs

They are very lightweight wheels, and would be good for winter [which you don't have there],and fuel economy with some 195-70-14's.

Stay with the 15" wheels. The tire selection is much better.
Oh, and too much traction? You can never have too much traction unless all you care about are burnouts. That good traction can save your life as well as be a lot of fun. Low traction, well...burnouts yeah!

15" MSWs are better than those GT wheels anyday. Although they do somewhat resemble Ronal Turbos, they lack pimpness.
Roll them if you don't want to rash the MSWs or if you need unbald tires but otherwise I'd personally keep them off your 244. ;-)
BTW, Dauntless had a set of white ones on his 244 a while back. I think white is the best color to paint them.

too much traction? :wtf:
I will be driving around with the MSWs. But I want the Gts for Burnouts and such. FUN wheels... Get it?

I can vouch for too much traction... but it's relative to the rest of the cars setup. I have all the traction in the world on my track car, which is useless (for the most part) on a stock suspension. Plan on rectifying that ($$).
