Nice car. But just one thing... does it really take that much mental capacity to get your pics working?

Btw: I hope for you that the return hose is the right rating.

Bit of irony there, he can turbocharge his car, but he can't post pictures! ;-)

just because it's silicone doesn't mean it's gonna hold up...

Dude the ****ing return line is a travesty. Accept it and find something more appropriate. If you need help, ask. Nobody wants to see you burn your car to the ground.

RTV stands for "Room Temperature Vulcanizing", by the way. If that hose started life as a pourable liquid that vulcanized at room temperature, your car is even more ****ed than we thought.

The reason I noticed that it was a heater core hose was because I have had to replace that part on my dad's 745 once and on my 744 twice, because they don't last. They get old and split apart.

Nobody else notices the fact that his drain is horizontal?

Barry, how many turbos have you killed again?

? Its still lower than the turbo and doesnt climb uphill. Why isn't that okay? It might collect for a short moment before being forced through by the oil coming down.

I am honestly not worried about the little horizontal section. As long as the turbo is higher than the oil level in the pan and you aren't running mad crank pressure or crazy thick oil, it should be fine.

Could be something Holset-related, el poio was having issues with clouds out the back, and his was more or less horizontal.
The Holset HX-series manual says no less than a 30 degree drop.
