Shown at the 1970 Turin Auto Show by Zagato and based on a 142 chassis. This one-off car is supposedly in a private collection in Sweden.

Anyone know more about it?

I thought it was going to be that Italian deisgn proposal for an 1800 replacement. But no, this is something I've never seen before.

And it looks damn fine!

Wow, put some proper wheels on that Vega (15x7 or maybe 16x7) and it would be a very cool looking ride. Are there any Vegas left?, I can't remember the last time I saw one.
Oh , and that 142 conversion is hot too, first time I've ever seen that one. I'd rock that, but I'd be a bit nervous to drive that on the roads

That's a great looking car. They should have made it with the B30.

Nah....doesn't look like an Alfa GTV...at least not a true vintage GTV... the only nice GTV's IMO

That would have been so much cooler with a B30 in it...

Zagato built the 3000 GTZ, based on the 164, for the following year's Turin show. Unfortunately, they made an attempt at the Volvo peaked hood with grill slash and didn't pull it off very well.
