I have an 84 242. Ive damplified the whole interior and sprayed undercoating in the nooks i couldnt get to. Here are my questions. I have a set of mb quart 5.25's for the front doors and 6.5's for the rear. My question is what amp to use. I have an infinity 475a and a jl 4300. Which one should i use?

oh and what kinda sound proofing did you go with, all spray stuff?
i sound proofed most of my car with fatmat..i did the front door panels, complete trunk (including where the spare goes), behind and under the back seat, and under the rear deck. i still get some rattles, but thats mostly from the trim on the inside where the door handle is, and from my gauge cluster which needs to be re-sealed.

I used second skin audio damplifier pro (160sq ft of it) and 3m rubberized undercoating.

Do you have pics? I want to get a feel for how much 160 sq ft will cover.

This is half the package. I still have plenty left to do.

40sqft was enough for me to do my doors and the passenger side d-pillar, rear quarter panel, and a bit of the roof.

Pioneer is the only way to go for me. One the sound proofing subject, how much weight is usually added by using this stuff.

yeah i had about 150 sq ft of fatmat and i still have an entire roll of 75 ft left, and ive done a lot with the other 75 ft.
when it warms up a bit around here ill probably rip up the carpeting again and fatmat all under that
