My old carpet was original and 32 years old. It was badly faded, had coolant stains, soldering iron burns, tar stains and water damage. So i think it was time to get a new one.
At first i checked all the wreckers, but all they had was blue, which wasnt suitable.
So upon advice from Midge245 i contacted www.knoxautocarpets.com.au.
I ordered a new carpet in "loop", and the colour "bark".
4 days later it arrived:

so today i ripped out the whole interior and began the installation.
The New carpet had NO HOLES at all, which was a bummer.
So i had to cut every hole, for the seat mounts, gear stick, around heater box /centre console, handbrake, as well as trim all the sides.
It was a big job and it took all day to get it right. i braved the 30C heat, as well as slicing my big toe with the stanley knife!!!
But i got it done in the end, and i am very happy with the results.
now the pics:

I love the old retro look of the loop pile.
They also make plush and superplush.
The carpet is very good quality, has a nice thick backing, and is nicely moulded.
So yeah im very happy with the results.
