HDs and ipd springs on the yellow sub

So, it was finally time to get rid of the stock struts/shocks/coils. They were getting really bouncy, and I think the back was sagging quite a bit.

Now Ive got Hds on all corners, new ipd sport springs, and turbo sways. :cool:

I also think it looks meaner with the mismatched flathood, no grill, and slight lowering!

Next step, stock rack is coming off and my yakima rack is going on, so I can start taking out my purple kayak (Ocean Kayak Sprinter if anyones into kayaking...) more. Real men ride purple kayaks.

with those ipd springs, they really need a coil cut off the fronts. It gives the car a much better stance. :-)

Do you have any shots that aren't sideways? Kinda hard to see the full effect.

Do the poly bushings, atleast the torque rods, before you go with 25mm sways..... HUGE difference when I did them on my friends 240.... and hell, they're pretty cheap too.

its not lowered *that* much.. could cut a coil, but Im really happy with it for now.

Definitely going to do poly before 25/25. Im not sure when 25/25 is going to happen. I just took it out on a couple of the canyon roads around here... WOW, this thing is like on rails! (compared to the 24 year old sock shocks ;-))

I've got EST Springs...thought about cutting a coil off the fronts. Then realized after driving it around for a while, some speedbumps are hard enough to get over.

Thanks! You'll love the HDs... I cant describe how much more fun they are in the twistys than the stockers. Car felt rock solid going around corners that would freak me out before, pretty neutral handling w/ HDs, ipd coils, and turbo bars. I can get the back-end to step out when I want it too though... :nod:
