Parked like I own the place.

As I continued to drive along the lakeshore I ended up driving through lake effect snow drifts (from the 30 mph winds) like they were waves one after another. This damn 245 is the best snow driving car I've owned to date. It whoops up on the domestic rust buckets in the snow.

So far my bucket in the back yard has measured a total 13 inches, and the forecast for the area is for more snow until 8-9pm tonight with a potential for the last 2 hours to dump up to one inch per hour.

I'm stoked! I also plan on whipping shi**ies in the grade school parking lot a few blocks away late tonight.

Yeah, i love this storm. I think we have like 12 inches at least here.

I need some new tires so i can have some fun snow shenanigans, and make it home ok

I keep sayin I want to move up north then I see pictures like those. Between cleaning the car and shoveling the driveway, i would be sick of it in a day

There was a forecast of snow here the other day last thursday. Some bright spark decided that all the schools in my county should close at 1pm. In the friday it snowed wet sleet for about 5 minutes.

The country grinds to a halt at the mere mention of it.

Same here man. Roads are empty, nobody works, nobody goes to school, so I drive an hour and a half and go snowboarding on an empty mtn. It's awesome.

Yeah, I was thinking more that it didn't look too inviting riding the thing buried under snow like that!
Nothing wrong with them for local transport.
Maybe some knobbies from a pocket bike on it would make it a great snow commuter? Light, manouvreable, low power, low centre of gravity. Stick your feet out for outriggers and go.

20" of snow.

I got stranded last night in Rochelle because they closed a bunch of roads...

Luckily the company opted for a hotel.

i wish that would happen here. a snow forecast would bring everyone out shopping. we have record sales everytime it snows.
