Error saving pages

When I find useful info here, I will often will save threads to my hard drive. Up to today I've had no problem, but now I get an error:

Seen just before it finishes, Chinese?

I'm getting this error no matter what computer or OS I use, and it doesn't matter what page or index from the forum I try to save, anyone else have this problem?

I just saved this thread w/ images using Opera 7.2 w/o a hitch.

however with IE6 i get the same error (just not in chinese :???: )

So no hope of a solution? Has anyone tried asking about this at http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewforum.php?f=1 :e-shrug: I'm not one to complain, just I never use any browser other than IE, would be a pain to have to install and then load something else every time I wanna save something. Not to mention that Chinese stuff, I mean as a board operator myself, that alone would have me asking questions. Everyone I know that has tried to save any forum index or page has experienced the same thing, but only as of the 6th which corresponds to the time of the other fix so maybe it's related?

I tried to save this very page and I got the 'no can't do' message, but I've seen no chinese in the pop-up window...

With the crippled board, at least this problem has gone a way, I can save pages at will now. :e-shrug:

interesting, must have been a "hack" i had installed... even more odd was the whole chinese thing lol

you'll be glad to see some of the saving thread options with the new board.
