Where:
Ikea
2206 S. Columbus Blvd.
Philadelphia, PA 19148
When:
Sunday, April 6th - from 11am until 3pm
(raindate of Sunday April 13th)
After a few weeks of discussion and a meeting between Ikea's public relations manager and myself, Ikea has granted permission for the use of thier parking lot @ thier South Philadelphia location. They've offered us use of an ample parking area only ~50yrds from the main entrance. However, since we're not officially a "club"...they will not aknowledge a partnership between us, only permission to use the space.
You're welcome to bring your own food/non-alcoholic drinks, but reasonably priced food & drinks will also be available in Ikea's resturant. We'll also have access to Ikea's restroom facilities.
So, clean up that ride, bring along the spouse for a day of shopping and let your kids jump in the ballpit.
Da' Rules:
- No burnouts, drifting, excessive speed while on Ikea's property.
- No loud music/subwoofer demos.
- No alcohol.
- Selling anything on Ikea's property is prohibited.
Let's get it goin'!!

I tried for Conshohocken, but they would only grant permission for S.Philly. Besides, if you take Rt95 into Philly, its only a couple of miles off of exit#20...minimal driving on Philly sidestreets.

A formal challenge has been issued by me on our behalf to our friends over @ Volvospeed:
Alright, you HAD to make me do this: >>(the following text was written in jest...please don't take it too seriously)<<
For years, the RWD crew have attended various local gatherings only to find ourselves grossly outnumbered by our newer FWD bretheran. Well, we think that's about to change. We are officially challenging you guys(FWD/AWD/Ford crew) to an attendance competition for bragging rights. That's right, basically we think you're all a bunch of wusses that are too scared to drive your precious machinery into the city and we dare you to prove us wrong.
At this moment, you guys are outnumbered 2 to 1. So, c'mon out on April 6th...if you dare...just to save face, if nothing else.

The 262c may be getting painted and the other 262c does not run as I have not completed the wiring, and the 92 745t is nothing to look at so it may default to the xc70 but I have 3 RWD cars and that one is AWD not just FWD so that should help in the T-brick standing.:oogle:

They do have a resturant in the store, although the food/drink selection is somewhat limited. But we'll have full access to bathroom facilities as well as the store itself. And like I said earilier, you won't have to walk a half a mile to get to the main entrance...we'll be parked pretty close. who wants to go to d &b after the show?
if there is enough interest to go there for food afterwards i can call them up & let them know of a party for say, minimum 30 people. We might be able to get some sort of discount, or seperate room because of the large amount of people.
from personal experience my 22nd b-day, i had it at d & b. They gave my party 20% off the game cards. Which was pretty cool.

correct, cops cracked down on drag racing years ago, so trying to get away with anything spirited is not only stupid (no offense), but unlikely
As for food. Tony Luc's is close by. MMMMMMM Awesome sandwiches. We have the chains down there too, I think like a texas roadhouse. but IMHO if your in philly do something philly. Pats and Genos is do able too, but parking is a bitch.

I'm thinking about $60. They're OEM Volvo, when I got them, I just sanded them down, and painted them quick. They've been sitting in my car ever since.
Are those iPd bars strut bars?
Also, going to be willing to trade for parts too. I'm looking for sways, Metal splash pan, ecodes, spacers, new ebrake cover, and maybe more.
The Wii has 2 remotes, a nunchuck, classic controller, Gamecube controller, Wireless sensor bar, NFS Carbon, NFS Prostreet, Mario 64, Wario's Woods, and also have Zelda/Wii Sports around, if I can find them, not sure the condition that they're in though. It's going to be hard to part with this, so make the deal sweet.

As far as 240 parts, what do you have? I'm in need of an ebrake cover, as well as some other little things that I can't think of.

Its already on Brickboard, Swedespeed, Volvospeed, and the VSA forums....I suppose one more wouldn't hurt. Then again, it might not go over too well there since its not an "official" sanctioned meet. I've already been warned about the potential liabilities from a VCOA board member.
