Still have some cleaning to do (removing tape residue and polishing the lenses) but i think they will look quite a bit better than they did before!
lenses still need to be polished as i said but a decent improvement
some crap to clean off but lookin good!
dirty car is DIRTY, jesus. also note the snazzy new dark gray metallic hood and fender that arent 601 classic red  should be all back together next week or so, whenever it FREAKING WARMS UP JESUS CHRIST

http://img530.imageshack.us/img530/4443/death2wt0.jpg as soon as i get all the bits put back on ill get er cleaned up proper, too damn COLD to do anything about it right now

Way to go for fixing it.

02-21-2008, 02:37 AM
yea and it only cost me 2/3 the cost of the car! 238$ for hood and fender, plus 80 for headlight bits plus 245$ to get it all fixed and in one peice again! versus 850+misc for the car itsself! and thats not counting all the goodies ive bought (IC and piping, 15g, CFIs, boost gauge, afr gauge, cheap ****ty MBC which i wont use, new plugs, repair parts from FCP and others, 3" downpipe etc)

lol tl;dr i spend money like its going outta style, all of the above in ~4 months of having owned the car :wtf:

The 'MF89' on the hood and fenders mean they came off a mother f'in 89, right?

Nice fix....

02-21-2008, 03:30 PM
damn straight! either that or manufacture year 89 model year 90 lol. tryin to decide on what to do about paint when summer rolls around. either classic red or something new and different (and way more expensive) among other things

Satin black with red pinstripes down the side.

i was thinking something like volvos new maple red metallic or something. possibly blue or somehting too, prolly just stick with 601 tho. BUT if i decide to sand down the hood and primer it its going to get a flamejob :D
