I know nothing but may i suggest rounding off the corner on the inside, above the flapper.

Finish on the inlet looks a little rough... looks sweet generally though.

rounding off both corners will help, as long as there is enough metal there to allow it. the top will let bypass flow go in much easier, and the bottom will allow flow that collects there when the wastegate is not open to easily avoid turbulence. looks great though, maybe radius the turbine discharge a bit too?

yes, and in the 30 minutes i spent doing it, i had to put on a jacket because of the shards and the floor looks like a ski resort.

yes, very good, i will do that right now.

When I had my stock five bolt wastegate improved by Cherry Turbos. He did all that you have done with the addition of making a grove so that when the wastegate when opened all the way it sat into a grove. Don't grind away too much of course. But you can make a grove there so the puck opens a bit more than stock to help the bypass flow a little better as well. The improvement Herman made did away with the boost creep problem I had.

Looks great!

all i'm saying is i already got a 35RS optioned to flow 680hp, i am not spending any more money on the t04e i have on there now... if i can squeeze some power out for free, great, but that's as far as i am going with that turbo. nothing against you, i just have a more important build to spend money on, so no cosworth for me.

Nice turbo, I hope you have cylinder head that can support it.

i port it by hand with a die grinder and a couple different carbide tips.

Nice turbo, I hope you have cylinder head that can support it.

just a volvo 16v head i'm playing with, it probably won't ever see 680hp on my car but the turbo itself could if the flow path was ideal.

So post in a thread about your build. :-P
