Well, I bought a Prelude for 500$ while I fixed this thing up and after it was fixed my stepmom's van (fu** Dodge) got a bit of a bad transmission so it became her car while I stuck to the Prelude, just fixed the van last week and got my baby back yesterday....

Parts Sum
60$ for headlight, fog light, and turn signal.
>100$ for hood (different color unfortunately but is in good shape, I'll paint it eventually)
Few bucks for stop leak

nice fix, you didnt do it yourself you're saying? $100 seems a little much for a hood around here, when my 944 was totaled I got a hood from the PAP for $50 or less. nonetheless, nice job saving a volvo.

No, all these repairs were self done. Simple stuff, I thought the hardest part was bending the radiator mounts back into place so I could close the original hood before I got that one. And the hood was less than (thus the sign >) 100$ it was around 60 or 70 I think, can't remember exactly.... the car is running strong right now and a stage 0 is in order along with some new rotors and semi metallic brake pads (so we won't have another oopsie like this again ;-))

No offense, but you paid 100 for that hood? It's dented in the front and isn't even the same color.

Again, I reiterate, I put >100 which means less than 100, that could mean 1$ for all u know.......

Got my wifes 93 944na w/106k on it for $500 needing a hood and fender, luckily found a hood and fender same silver color in the P&P for $53.00 from a 91 745. That was 2 years ago, she now has 110k on the car, yeah, 2K miles a year. She goes back and forth to work with the car and that's it. I put 30k on my 91 745ti in the last 3 yrs.. I ROLL, she doesn't. I got mine w/239k and just turned 269k.......

I locked my door by opening the rear door and pushing down the lock on the front door thus locking all doors. I thought they were in my pocket......turned out they were in the passenger seat.

Lol, at least you know they have good windows now, I've got 3 sets of keys for my brick though so a phone call to a family member is all it takes to get my keys back out....and if push comes to shove I got this big hook thing that can open my door up.

Ever thought of using a HD magnet and attaching a spare key under the car somewhere?

Yes, but I figure that they'er so common and well known now that they can be used against me....
