Monthly Dallas Meet April 26th Feeler....

I am planning on hosting the April monthly meet at my house in Palmer, TX. I know most of you are saying, "Where's Palmer?". Well, it is 30 miles South of Dallas. Easy drive down I-45.

I would like to get it started just after noon and cook out some burgers and dogs on the grille for lunch, get some wrenching done and shine up the bricks. I will lay out a cruise down some of the windning Farm-to-Markets and we can take some photos along the way. And for those who want to stay late, there is an excellent Drive-In theater 5 minutes from my house that we can take over and check out a movie to wrap it up.

Please let me know if you plan to attend and I will provide more details later as we get them together.

The date is still in the air but I will nail it down depending on the response I get. Just can't do the third weekend....

Hope you can make it out Nick. I think the 26th is the best bet. Earlier in the month will not be easy for me....

So lets make it the 26th of April. Anyone interested and think they can make it, let me know. I will cook burgers and dogs for who shows up. I will work on an itinerary for the day to try and keep things on track. You are welcome to come and go during the day if need be.
How many would be able to make the Drive-in? It starts at 8:00 pm.

I'd like to swing by, sounds like a good plan. I may bring the V70 this time. The 140 isn't quite ready yet, and the 245 is plain dirty, needs tlc.

My evening is reserved for the Denton Art & Jazz festival with a gf and some great music by Delbert McClinton. Wouldn't miss it.

lol, I would almost always choose good live music & girls over Volvo's and wrenching, (no offense, guys) but it's a close third ;-)

Also, the third week of the month, April 18, 19th & 20th is the Memory Lane Classic Car show at the Texas Motor Speedway, which I'm going to go. There's some great music, (I'm sure some nice eye candy, too:omg:) AND cars, what more could you ask for?

Hey guys. Still planning this meet for the 26th.
I'll be out of country for the week before the meet and will not be able to be contacted.
I am curious about how many people are interested in the drive-in. I know it will be getting later in the day and some will have a long drive back home so let me know if you want to pass on that part. Then we can still do some cleaning, wrenching and cooking some burgers before going cruising and taking pics....
