I have decided to make a thread outlining our meet and cruise itinerary for the Ikea meet April 6th, 2008

Since there seems to be no exact total plan for the morning.


STEVE'S HOUSE: <--main nj meeting place
From I-287 either way
Take exit 12 toward Manville 0.4 mi
Turn left at CR-623/Weston Canal Rd
Continue to follow CR-623 3.3 mi
Turn left at CR-533/S Main St
Continue to follow CR-533 1.2 mi
Turn right at Claremont Dr 0.2 mi

MY HOUSE: <--pre-meeting place

From I-287N
Take exit 30B toward Bernardsville/US-202 0.2 mi
Merge onto N Maple Ave 436 ft
Turn left at Morristown Rd/US-202
Continue to follow US-202 1.8 mi
Slight left at CR-525/Mt Airy Rd 322 ft
Turn right at Boylan Terrace 318 ft

driving together from CT down to NJ. I believe that they are meeting in either Hartford, CT or the New Haven Ikea in New Haven, CT


Either way you guys need to meet up together like 7:30am no later than 8am!!!
ITs 2 hrs to NJ from CT
You guys have the longest drive so you guys need to meet up the earliest,

It says to take 95s down to cross bronx over the GWB and then down 95s(tolls)
but Ian you seemed to get to my house pretty quickly going over the GWB then 80w to 287s

follow signs for outer bridge crossing

Yeah, good job! I will be at your house with Ian. Google maps tells me its just under 3 hours to get from my place to yours so if we left CT at 7:30 we'd get to your place too late IMO.

Ian, I think we need to leave CT around 6:30ish. What do you think?

No, I just did out all the math.
If I leave my house at 5:30 AM, and I average 75 MPH down to Ikea of New Haven, I will get to Ikea of New Haven around 7:15-7:30 AM.
From there, it is about 2 hours to the NJ meet up spot. We need to be there at NJ by 9:30 AM, so that works out perfect. I will leave at 5:15 AM just to be sure I get to New Haven in good time.
What is your number so that I can call you when I'm close to New Haven? Please show up there and wait for me at about 7 AM, I will be there right around that time.

on a side note, the weather has been warm enough outside to keep the garage warm..
and even though i have aries and the calipers are hardly visible, i've been painting them.
i've done blue caliper on passenger front, yellow caliper on passenger rear.
