ah well then .. I think the 240sx would prob still beat ya as it should be around 180bhp(160bhp stock but he has a set of hot cams and 'intake') or so along with being maybe 2500lb's w/ Chris in it. once we get an exhaust/header on it and get a retune it should be around 200+bhp

looks like Fige and me will be heading up on friday. we are talking about hitting up the yards while we are up there too.

and i just talked to J, he said after 5pm he should be able to hang out.

can't drag the green car, i forgot we need to get a drive shaft made for it. anyone know a good place, seems most places J called will not do a volvo driveshaft [BULL****!]

J is worried about that one guibo that is kinda beat.

i say run it also, i was thinking at the 7psi it is running now it should be just fine. its 'mine' again so i think i will ;)

i told J the same thing, it's bull**** that they will no extend it the 3/4-1" it needs to be longer.

not just yet ... 6.50/gal isn't really the end of the world, just sucks how they raise it 3x more than pump goes up

otherwise I have a source for some race fuel that is around the same price but takes much less to make the same kind of power, nevermind that it is oxygenated a bit more so if you are already running a bit rich it should help you make a bit more power(5% or so)

at 15-18psi you might be surprised how fast that car will be if you can get it off the line

with a 15g, 92+ IC, fuel only chip, V15 cam and 3" exhaust @ 15psi i did 13.8@100 with only a 2.1sec 60 foot time so

I managed to run a 16.31 at 83.95mph. I think to get any faster than that out of a stock celica you'd need a whole lot grippier rubber. Certainly beats the snot out of the 16.66 i ran last time!

yea I did a 14.3 best @ like 95 mph, othertimes wise I did a 14.8 @ 97.8 or something

car is just all upside down, 19psi rock solid and then some kind of missfire and then bog 15psi and then back to 19psi and then who knows what.

had one run where it overboosted to 30+psi .. that was fun was a 17sec slip @ like 58mph

oh well, I think I am done agian for a bit as I am tired of messing with it as there is a big bottle neck someplace and the car just needs to be gone over and put back to square zero before it will want to run right. I still claim it is a slow track but whatever

eh not good. the car is very solid, no fuel or spark issues. i think building boost off the line is my biggest issue. We tighted the wastegate more and that made a big difference, but i couldnt get a solid pass in as the boost guage line came off and i didnt want to over boost. Best the car ran was 15.5@89 with Mike driving. I need to go over the car in the next weeks and get everything squared away. Im waiting on a 984 chipped box from Netherlands and my TTR cam gear from elijah. I think that adv. the timing +3 deg. would help some too, as the car feels like it wakes up at half track. I also think a Wideband is going to be in the works soon too....

That's not good. I haven't have a single problem with my vacuum lines since I put the engine back together. I suggest you go over every line and replace them all.

actually there is some kind of a fueling or spark problem. I could feel it going down the track the car feels like there is a bit of misfire or bucking from being either rich or lean so

probly should invest in a 4 bar for the time being.....might help with fuel. what does AMM cut feel like?

well the drive home i didnt go into boost too much....

but the last run it did it definatly felt like it woke up sooner. today i fixed the vaccum lines, redid the turbo drain tube, and did a once over of everything. I think im gonna need to pull this 90+ and install the 10mm studs from Toyota as the ones i got from ACE dont seem to be sealing completely. Im gonna do some more fine tuning this week and see how she runs. Think the car might like the CFI's with the 3 bar more than the BT's....those will probly go in soon too. As well as looking into a wideband.

i know with those bolt ons i would want to be running @ least 42-46lb/hr injectors for proper afrs(mine were right with that size)
