What: Dropping in the long block, bolting on intake and accessories, wiring megasquirt and anything else I and others have the energy and time to do

Who: Anyone who wants to show up can. If you wanna rsvp my number is 602-684-5010...mebbe we'll grill meat.

Why: cuz I'm tired of having parts all over the garage and I wanna get this thing done! Also, I'm leaving the country the end may for a few months and I really don't want to come back to a still wholly disassembled car.

So, that's the deal. Parts are on their way. I'll have everything by next Friday and I want to have this car ready so that when i get back from my trip all I have to do is troubleshoot and tune.

what all did you order?

relay block, 4foot connector from ms board to relay block, and 12' wiring bundle to go from the block to all the sensors and such.

so from here on its just running wires and crimping/soldering. I've also got heatshrink and a heat gun, as well as good wire organizing sheath so assuming I actually get people out this weekend to help who've got experience (I see no good from 4people fumbling around vs 1) I see the motor in and wired by the end of the day saturday or at the very least most of it done:)

soldering iron is late in the mail...prolly wont be here that day. i can buy that and solder friday. i will be sure to buy about a quartermile of 1/8th" heatshrink too. not sure what terminals you're thinking need, unless we're planning on rewiring hte ENTIRE CAR:wtf: (on my list of things to do tho)

i will however have beer and assorted porn. any preferences on either?:)

so...this weekend I'm still wantin to do work stuffs. regardless of whether anyone shows up, the plan is to finish wiring the engine bay and if time permits, et the front end back together.

I expect over the weekend I could almost get one of those things done but definitely not both without help so...c'mon over and I'll buy pizza again;-)

Those 944's are money pitts, they seem to hold up I guess. Boss has one at bashass and he has 160kmi on it. Has thrown so much money into it.

oh and it turns out my 940 has a 4.10 rear w/ the locker, I am tempted to swap that rear end with the one in my 744, would make the 744 faster and give the 944 better gas milage
