Red Stripe.... Hooray Me!

Got some wide pinstriping and decided to add a little color to the 740 today. I also installed the egg-crate grille.
That's it.

Not bad not bad, although imo it does look a little like reflective strips as a safety measure.

Loving the eggcrate as to be expected :-P

Ya I dont care for it on the door trim either but what I did simply was red electrical tape on the rear bumper and white up front. Looks ok for now and is holding up very nicely. Best thing is im out nothing if and when I rip it off. To each his own I guess...

I like the bumper stripes a lot on early 700's, especially ones as clean as yours.
I'm not convinced by the stripes on the doors, but I'm not opposed. Its growing on me the more I look at it.

I used 3M Reflective Tape on my bumpers (white front, red rear). They sell it at the hardware or auto parts store in a 1"wide x 3yard roll, you can cut it down to fit. In daylight it looks like a red or white stripe, at night it reflects.
I wouldn't do reflective red on the front though, so maybe you have it right using just electrical tape.

The line on the doors would look better IMO if they were even level with the bumpers.
