Photoshop request- My 18" BBS RK's black

Hello,

I am thinking about having my 18" BBS RK's on my wagon sprayed gloss black, but would like to see what it will look like first. I have no photoshop skills, so your help is much appreciated! Also a pshop of all black except the outermost lip still silver? sorry I dont have any straight on side shots...

...and they should have some sort of BBK behind the fronts next year hopefully...

No!!!

Sorry but I like gloss black wheels(they are going to be professionaly sprayed, no rattle can job)...I am bored with the silver. I like the wheels a lot though, because they are very light, relatively cheap, and will clear a BBK in the front.

I modeled my car after the 96 corvette grand sport...and it came from the factory with black wheels, so that is another reason I want black wheels. Also, my car no longer has any chrome or silver on it (besides the exhaust tips which will be painted black as well) so I think these blacked out will make the car look a little more sinister.

I may decide I don't like how it looks, and just sell these, and buy different wheels...thats why I'd like to see it first.

So anyone with photoshop skills?

thanks...I cant see any spoke definition and they look like a flat black, but I appreciate the attempt

Heh, that's what you get if you've used Photoshop for like 12 years and counting.
Btw, I used the blending options to get the shine back by copying the spoke area...

damn you are quick...I like the silver lip better too, breaks up the wheel and tire. I think I'm gonna do it, not sure I am going to try to have the outer lip actually polished, or just leave it bright silver as it is now, but I like that look. Thanks again man!

Totally agree, it'll look badass whichever way. Personally, I think going for complete black spokes loses the best feature of those RK rims, perhaps going for a gunmetal or chrome black and leaving the outer lip silver might be better while giving off the same effect ...

here is photoshop a guy did for me right after I had it painted...I liked it, but also thought the stripes looked too busy/flashy since the wagon is so long...I may do the red fender hash marks in vinyl, and if I dont like em just pull them off.

I thought of that too, and it probably would looks sick, especially with the red fender hash marks. The thing that sucks is there is no real lip defintion on the RK's so it will just be the flat front surface of the lip, not the actual lip like on the time attack, and I think I would get tired of the painted red or color matched lips.

You are right as well. Here is my problem. I like the RK's a lot, and they look really good in silver on my car. I probably am not going to paint them, although I havent decided for sure against it because it does look good in the photoshop.

But...Ideally I want an 18" wheel setup with low offsets and no spacers, but staggered so I have enough clearance to run a BBK in the front...with a black center and a polished lip, BUT I don't want to spend $2500-$3000 on custom wheels plus the cost of tires.(Especially since I may change the rear to an 8.8 and then have two different bolt patterns, or have to spend even more to get custom axles) The cool thing about the RK's is the rears 8.5" wide and they are 5x4.5 so they will bolt straight up to an 8.8 if I do that, but they still work fine now with the spacers.

I will keep looking for my ultimate wheels and probably hold off on painting them for a while, but thanks for the input and photoshop help!
