After all the car has been through, I thought it deserved a good cleaning. Took her out later in the evening and got a few shots:
I've done a slew of stuff since the last time I've taken pictures. Painted door handles and mirrors, Lowering springs from Skandix, Bil HD's from IPD, and a OEM receiver hitch (:oogle:)

I know. I have a few things I need to work on. First off, that stupid nasty headlight. I also need to remove the remains of my plastic belly pan. I wish IPD made a metal one for 700/900 cars.
Had to goof around with my semi new lens too:

Lol, Not gonna lie, I was loving the 20+ volts too. My ****ty power window switches worked like new, and the windows zipped up and down at lightning speed. My lights were brighter, and when I hit my brakes, the entire back of my car lit up like Christmas. My AC blower would blow your hair out of place. Got another alt in, and everything is old and busted like before. :-P
I'll see if I can get all the stuff fixed before we head to Texas :)

My brand new f-150 did that to me once it was sweet till it smoked my amp behind my seat and fried a few things then it put out nothing and made it to the dealer and died in the service entrance.

Haha yeah, that passenger headlight is a ~3 month old OE Volvo assembly from the dealer.
I'll let it go for cheap when I get around to buying some ecodes :)
Thanks man!

Haha, well mine was all fine until the battery boiled all the water out of itself. Then my lights exploded, and all of my dash lights came on. Car still ran! Got it off the freeway and into a empty parking lot.

Damn, mine boiled all the water out of the battery too. I could smell the egg smell but I was going up into the mountains and just thought it was the cat on a car in front of me. Then I looked at the voltmeter on the stereo and realized that 16.8v was a little high considering the adjustable regulator was set for 14.4.

Ok, how do we get IPD to make metal belly pans? Seriously.

yeah its the WORST Smell ever. It would gag me out in stop and go traffic with the windows up and the AC on. I think as long as you keep water in it, it should be fine. I just kept stopping at every walmart and demanding a new battery as this one is "melting" :-D

I think its pretty stupid that they have them for the 240s and 850s, but not 700/900 series. I dont see why they skipped a generation

Oh sorry, absolutely great looking car. And saying there are things that need work to that car is like saying Alyssa Milano needs work.

like I said in the first post, the driver one has broken mounts. I've got a new back plate, but I'm too lazy to swap it in. Probably going to get me a set of ecodes

It looks good when cleaned up, but its got its imprefections. I get pretty mad at it sometimes :-P
Clean, sharp lookin' car.
Thanks man! I hope my white 240 will look as good as yours when I get around to making it road worthy

Interesting...I just don't see why they cant re-tool and make em' again. If they already have the design sitting around somewhere, it shouldn't be THAT hard
lucky...

Thanks bro! I'm VERY partial to this color. I think its my favorite, along with black. Clearcoat is is in suburb shape, other than a one inch spot on the door frame. Not even noticeable unless pointed out. It will be fixed in due time. The color is called Regent Red Pearl. :)

Yeah I'll let you know on the corner lens. Both are no older than a year.
As for the tags, I got two on Ebay actually. Like $13 and shipping from Germany. They aren't Swedish, but ohh well, they still look sweet, IMO.

Thanks! You have a stable of uber sharp wagons too! I wish I had the room for more cars.
Heck, I'll clean all three if you install my new head!
