i think if there was a forum for the na people there could be less space taken in the performance and mods and allow the na people to feel more comfortable with posting in the na forum rather than the maintence forum.

just an idea

read the description for "performance"

n/a is included as well as v8, 5cyl, 6cyl, hybrids, etc... if its a volvo and you're talking about performance then you post it there

i am well aware that it can be posted in performance and have done so on many occassions. it was merley a suggestion to improve the responses and stear members away from the typical ...dude get a turbo.

once again it was just my opinion

oh dont get me wrong, im not busting your chops... maybe i was unclear, if n/a were to be split off, then FWD would too, eventually it would break down into series... and before you knew it you'd have swedespeed or brickboard where no one knows about things that would pertain to your car... e.g. 3" exhaust discussion that just happened to go into the 700 forum wouldnt be seen by those who didnt have time to keep up with everything else.

As for the givin replies that will come with posting "my b230 with cone filter is too slow" topics in the perf forum.. the people that have done F+T's arent lying when they say if you want more power get a turbo... its cheap, simple, and makes a hell of a difference. if you've never felt the turbo cars in comparison then you need to. If you're hardcore N/A no one will hate on you (havent heard a single gripe about volvorules's blue 242 as a feature car), if they do then they're out of line. you can come whine to me and i'll tell them to back off.

It's good the way it is because traffic is low. And I mean ACTUAL performance related topics, since a good percentage of the new posts are really not about making a car go faster or handle better or stop quicker.

when looking at it that way both of your points make good sense. and i have a turbo car as well and have seen robs car last year at carlisle. but you are right i would rather have it this way then ultra low traffic forums like swedespeed.

good points thanks guys
