Here they are, I am debating about taking them farther back, and I am not sure about the ones on the trunk......

Ha, no that is my Bro in laws car. It is his work truck. The lettering on it is an ad for his garage door repair buisness.

for your sake i wouldn't bring that car to the meet ...my g/f REALLY wants that car haha ... so maybe i can get ya to do some work like that on her car IF she ever gets off her ass and gets her license
but yea looking nice ... u know there is still a huge demand for people that can pin stripe that good.
so what color are they being painted?

That's damn sweet. I knew a guy in Isla Vista (UCSB) that was painting 740's with grey flames and a white skull near the front of the hood. Yours are better, but the whole flames on a Volvo idea is pretty cool. I'll have to test it out with some tape for a while to see if I like it.
Good Job

a little over the top on the trunk. leave the rest of alone, no paint or anything. the cool thing about your car is the whole 50' merc look, i've seen alot of them though, and never seen flames on the trunk. so no chop top, in the works?

Looks great man, what are you thinking for colors, are you gonna fill em in or leave it just as an outline, i think it would look goot either way.

I am going to leave them as just an outline. It really was pretty easy, I just bought the pinstriping and laid it down.

Flames are just right. Looks great! I like it.
How strong are the solenoids you used for the doors? I will be de-chroming my 242, including the door handles.
