At what power level is the stock fuel rail no longer able to supply enough fuel, and what are the options for dealing with that??

Also, fuel pump-wise, what are the options for getting a higher volume pump, and at what point does the stock pump lose the ability to keep pace with the HP?

Thanks,
Evan

The max fuel flow has to be crazy high- 500+ for sure.

The best solution at that stage, IMO, since your stock intake manifold will also be sucking major ass, would be to go to a setup that uses 2 fuel rails and run 8 injectors.:-D

Walbro 255HP is the standard upgrade (large in tnak pump, you delete the main pump under the car) although some people again, will run 2 stock pumps or upgrade to a bosch 044 main pump.

I think I am going to leave my main pump wiring intact- so I can use an 044 and a wallbor if I were to get a wild hair.

And you might end up using 2 044 pumps allso. The pressure flow is not too impressive on those. Turbo K-jet pump has better flow for high pressure.

Sweet I have Walbro sitting in the parts bin...And that seems like a fairly easy drop in replacement.

Just want to be sure that everything is properly matched, sized, and that "Linuxman" is prepared for my trip to Alabama, and the subsequent tuning. I'll be happy with 300RWHP to start...
