I had and older ver of ms firmware, (b602 i think) or somthing that old form hockey930. I have to use tunix now.
My question is, With the older firmware it was running good, I was just unable to tune it. Now i am trying to get the car back on the road so i need some tunning. I had to upgrade the firmware for tunix to work, now i have some weird signal issues.
1. At keeping an idle at 1500 rpm, It jumps all over the place (tach and rpm around 300 to 400 rpms)
2. At 3100 or 3200 rpm its worse. Almost like a rev limiter, But its not, i checked.

Would changing firmware to 029y4 made this difference?
I am not running anything other than stock +t stuff.

I am sorry if i sound like an idiot, I probably am. I did not put ms in my car for performance at this time, It was installed to get rid of an electrical gremlin that was forcing a very rich running car that myself and the previous ower was unable to track down.
With help from Asher and Eemon, i was able to get it running decent enough to use my car to go back and forth to work.
