Okay...

I've done the basic calculations, and with a goal of 500 crank horseponies, I'm getting a flow rate of 1000 cc/min, or 94#/hr. Presumes that fuel pressure is 3 bar.

I'd prefer to just order injectors once - and get the right one's in and running straight away, even if it might be another 6 months before I get to 500hp or so.

Are there injectors large enough that are "drop in" for the stock fuel rail?? If so, where can I purchase them?

Thanks,
Evan

Depending on your preference...

I like the last ones the best. They have the best atomisation and spray. They also seem to work very good with low pulsewidths. I have had 3 sets (of different sizes) of the Siemens DEKA injectors, and all of them turned out to be much better than Bosch and some others.

Thanks,

Based on your recommendation, it looks like the last set would do, and might be worth the slightly less fuel flow for an improvement in quality.

My calculations were done on an 80% duty cycle, and increasing that duty cycle gives me a little more head room above the 425hp those injectors can handle. I think that should be sufficient.

I'll be happy with 350rwhp...though the 400hp club would be great :-)

Further suggestions then? And what do you mean by problems??? Elaborate, please.
