About to bench-test my VEMS, and I'm also ready to re-assemble my 15g with new bearings, rings, and seals. Assuming all goes well I'll start making the harness either tonight or tomorrow. That might take me a couple of days, leaving two or three days to actually get it running and tune it.

I've been back and forth with people at BVV and can confirm that the gate for this has been changed to $20 per car for the showfield. This was done by Larz Anderson, and the GM at Charles River Saab tells me that they did not learn of this until today.

No danger of driving on a Rejection sticker, that's perfectly legal. But if your sticker's expired then yeah, don't do it.

Well, it's 4 AM and I just got back from the virgin test drive on the VEMS. The wideband isn't working, but everything else is. The rear tires are rubbing so I might just put the old steelies back on before I head up. All I know is I'm ****ing dirty, tired, and frustrated.

Here's to driving 180 miles round trip tomorrow on a brand new untuned EMS.

yeah, one of the organizers was really irritated with my third mount ... should have spanned the strut towers, kept on about it for a bit too long in my opinion, i got the message the first time he said it ... probably right, but with all that was incomplete on the car i'm surprised he gave me so much **** for something like that ... how about the wires everywhere or the ridicuous intake track???

meh, there were some sweet cars there, and it was fun to meet you guys in person - i'd rather have fewer pics of my car in its current state anyways :)

I've been reading through the topic and have been able to put a few usernames to cars - some really nice cars you have. Nice variety of Volvos from old to new which was great to see. I enjoyed drooling over the three doors and the fully loaded one owner 144!!

I reckon my '79 245 would have slotted in just nicely. :cool:

Might try and make next years show (although obviously not with my Volvo)!

New England is a beautiful place! :nod: We were in Vermont last year and decided to return (but to another state) this year, so after reading about the show, Massachusetts it was. All being well, New Hampshire will be next year. I'm a pretty regular show goer here so SCD just made sence! Unfortunately last year we missed the British Invasion ( http://www.britishinvasion.com ) in Vermont by a week, which was a shame as we were staying in Stowe and there featured marque was the Mini (which I'm also into)!

I wasn't a big fan of those rims on the 200s until I seen the combo in person, looks sweet. One of the nicest colours you can get on a Volvo also, in my opinion! :)
