Mangohick Motorsports LLC?
As most of you may know I've been off the board for a month or so working hard and organizing my own business. I'd like to announce that it's finally legit.. I'm not done with all of the red tape and legal mumbo jumbo but I do finally have a federal tax ID number which in my eyes, is a good reason to celebrate.


Fried turkey and Banjos?
Basically the meet will consist of a nice long cruise through the countryside, a un-organized swap meet as usual, and lots and lots of yard bird, fried turkey and beer (I'm busting out the outdoor deep fryer for ths one) AND there will be a live band here this time complete with a 5 string banjo player.


Blowing up Volvos?
I'd like to have the cruise started by 1pm.. It'll probably be more than 30 miles so make sure you've got plenty of gas when you show up.

Amateur Football?
Friendly game of football would be nice too.. except every time a team scores.. they've gotta shotgun a beer (helps even the playing field)


Swapping Meat?
Drag all of your unwanted parts you've got up online and I'll have designated areas for everyone to sell their goodies. If anyone wants to wrench on their car here let me know ahead of time via PM so I can clear a spot for you to work


Covered Dishes etc..
I'll make a list of the oddities such as plates, cups, etc.. later down the thread..


Camping?
If you want to camp out here Friday or Saturday night theres about 40 acres here to set up a tent so prepare accordingly. If you have a mountian bike you may want to bring that as well since theres plenty of space to cruise around.

I think it's bolt-in on your car, shouldn't be an issue at all.

When I did mine everyone said I needed the tensioner from a later 240 (like yours) to mount the ND alt to the 240. I grabbed an 80 amp from some 940 (all I could find at the time), the tensioner from an 90 240, bolted in no problems!

Think about buying some nice 4 gauge power and ground wire and terminals and you'll have some nice power :nod:

well I got a refurbed bosch 100 amp. Im gonna get the poly bushings and I have all new continental belts to put on ac, steering, timing, and alt.

Tell you what, just bring both, we'll start on the alternator and if we've got time we can venture into doing a fan swap.. You should definitely put your high amp alternator on BEFORE you put on a e-fan.

Hai, guys. My 240, oddly enough, won first in FSP at Fedex today. Not actually a big whoop because it was just me and a Mini. The Mini owner wasn't running his race tires for some reason. The other 3 guys in my class didn't show probably becuz it wasn't a SCCA championship points event. All 4 of them routinely hand me my ass on a platter at SCCA events.

My best time was a 69.xx. I will post link to the results when available but for example a Lotus Elise was turning 64.xx times. The fast ESP Camaros where turning 58.xx.

Simple directions.. from Interstate 95

Exit #98 for Kings Dominion towards West point onto State route 30.. (East)

Start counting your mileage as you get off 95 as it's about 10 miles to your left turn onto Herring Creek (or State route 604)

You'll cross straight over 301 about 5 miles from 95 so you'll have about another 5 miles to go after you go through the stoplight at 301.


You'll make a LEFT onto Herring Creek (604)

1/4 mile and make a RIGHT into the first paved driveway you get to with the cedar trees
