Hey guys,

I intend to swap heads and +TIC my 245 tomorrow. I'm getting the last things together tonight. I was trying to swap in a freshened up 93 bottom but I won't have it ready in time to have it all done this weekend. I have a ported 530 with an IPD turbo cam that will go on my current engine. Stock water cooled T3 on a ported 90+ mani and a 3" LostArtOf DP. If I don't get the +TIC done this weekend it will be on hold for a while. With all that said, if you want to swing by my place tomorrow, let me know. I'm not realy looking to put anyone to work but it would be cool if anyone wants to drop by. I'm in Stockbridge about 10 minutes from I-675. Let me know and I can PM you my cell and directions.

Mike H's?

That's cool. I can't wait to see his when it's done. Maybe we can talk about making my wagon shiny again. :-D

I wish I could help out - sounds like a good time. Even if I had the time the gas would kill me right now. Thanks Ike.

Well I hit 2 snags and didn't get done. 2 of the studs in the wastegate housing were crossthreaded so severely that I had to remove it to drill them out and put helicoils in. That burned up all morning after having to run around to find both the right helicoils and matching drill bit. Had I not just sold an extra turbo, I would have so been swapping housings. I didn't want to waste time rooting at PaP looking for another either.

I was pissed and wound up breaking a fitting being hamfisted. I decided not to start breaking the car down that late so I got everything else done than I could. Hopefully it won't fight me tomorrow and it should all be an unbolt/bolt-in affair. I just did make it to Summit in time to get the other fitting. O well, tomorrow should be good.
