Photos were taken straight at noon  so I edited a few in PS.
The paintjob is pretty much toast, the tails are cracked (but working) and I'm still missing a headlight surround, but the B21 runs strong and is currently leak free. :)

Well, there's not too much to see. ;-)

Looks decent, but ditch the commando bumper trim and drill the holes for the bumper on the fenders, so the front one sits right. Make it look less ghetto T-bricks-like and more like the car's an '83 240.

I plan on painting the front end trim all black, but it's just not that important right now.

I have a regular SLR camera I'm pretty skilled with, but I save the film for better subjects.
And a DSLR just isn't in the checkbook.

Thanks, best stock 14inchers.

I don't want the car to look like an '83. It's an '82 It is ghetto TBricks style and I love that about it. So is your wagon from the looks of it.
Commando trim works for me, and one of the reasons the sides sag is because of the rearrangement of the plastic when I drilled holes for quick disconnect.

I'm glad you didn't either, but if I had commandos still, I wouldn't need to. From what I've seen they would take too much work to look good on skinny bumpers (I've seen a decent example), the width of your commandos helps the full '93 lip look better.

Get your filmz from B&H, they still sell film for pretty darn cheap.
And a DSLR just isn't in the checkbook.
Not even an older ebay special? You could pick up a setup like mine (Pentax *istDL w/ kit lens and a few accessories) on ebay for not much more than the price of a nice new P&S.

hey choppy why dont you take off the trim on the rear windshield? It looks like a normal windshield seal under there after you clean all the 30 yr old gunk off of it..
I did it since Im getting rid of all the chrome...
And how bout these nice cool days weve had this week?

Thanks again man.

Yeah, it's a nice look.
EDIT: Oh yeah, it got me in trouble with the law once. Me and the officer argued for 20 minutes until he couldn't find the now deleted "grandfather clause" in his law book. So no ticket for the darker tint yet. I'm sure he's wised up to the rule book additions now...

Yep. Sold them to swiftjustice44, they're mounted on his 740 now. I have a full set of spacers for some OEM FWD Volvo wheels so when I find a good deal I might snatch them up.
Redwoodchair is sending me a surround since we hardly get quad square Volvos (or volvos at all for the matter) here locally.

I can't even afford a regular digital, money is tight right now so it'll have to wait. I get all my video equipment from B&H. Also, their thickass catalogs come in the mail once a year to tempt me.

I'll think about it, I don't know why but I sort of like chrome on the windshield.
Yeah, these cool days have been great! But it comes and goes, plus it doesn't help that the sun is still beating down. Nighttime though, like tonight, I almost feel a little too chilly.
But yeah, I usually have to get work done on the car in the mornings, damn this Texas heat. :)

Sadly, I'm not in San Antonio, I'm about 300 miles the other way. Although I will be in or around that area this weekend. It's okay, my headlight surround came in the mail today!

My car's that way because the frame still needs to be straightened. When it's done, it won't have anything ghetto T-bricks about it. Will just be a 245T with a 242GT nose on it. Already is one color and has the correct color grille and headlamp doors. But, to each their own, I guess.
With respect to film, just go to Costco and get a 5-pack of Fujicolor Superia 400. Have it processed and scanned to CD by them.

No, she just likes laying on Volvos.
She likes getting her belly scratched too, it's weird.

That's great.
But who said my car was "done"? Although I'm not nearly finished with it, I can still appreciate it in all its transitions. "Ghetto-Tbricks style" as you put it is just its current form.
I already develop CDs when I shoot film. But as I already stated, I save my time for other subjects. It all depends on what I'm shooting, if it's the car I see every day, I borrow a digital and snap shot it, if I'm touring around New York, I snap shot it, if I actually have time to sit and ponder aperture and shutter speed settings, I'll bust out my SLR.
