Hey guys.I was reading on here about how to make a mbc using a t fitting.Figured i had the stuff laying around so i got to work on making one.About a hr into it.I was done with it and took it out for a spin 11psi is a blast :oogle: lol.Doesn't sound like much but damn its noticeable performance gain is nice.Only downside was i had to bump up my idle a little. No boost spikes or anything either. Not bad for making it out of stuff i had laying around.Turbobricks style but its not ghetto enough lol.

If you got the stuff laying around to make one go for it.I might do a writeup on how to go about making one so far i have only pushed 11 psi.I wonder whats the safe limit for lh 2.2 and a k block motor?I was told 13-14psi is safe since the stock fuel cut is right around there but id like to know how far i can push it safely.

Is that just a t-fitting with a line of hose?

I run my 88 at 15PSI with no problems - well, I had to disconnect the fuel cut under the dash but it put down 174HP and 209ft lb of toarks on the dyno.

Yeah just a T fitting with a bleeder hose. The more you cut off the bleeder line the more boost it will make.Makes sense though.Ill try and get 13 out of it see how that is.It works real good surprisingly simple as well :).
