Ok so this really needs to get done, AZ meet, it has been a good long time and nothing big has gone down.

This sat I am going to (read NEED TO) build a new header for the 944 as the stock one is leaking so plan for a full day of cutting and welding and fab work along with just hanging out.

This will be at my new place, those who need directions PM me, otherwise be there.

If I can find a way I will get a BBQ there for food, otherwise expect pizza of somekind

Well I shouldn't have an excuse NOT to make it as you are less the 2 miles away from me. You know anything about doing toe adjustments for an alignment?

I will see how busy I am on saturday though.

If I show up to this, i run the risk of failing school. If i didn't run the risk of failing school, I'd be in my garage, bolting to gether the intake, throttle linkage, and fuel rail of my motor assuming I can find all the parts needed for the job in the garage:-P

have fun!

Adjusting is easy, the problem is that knowing how much to adjust to hard. String and rope between two wheel isn't the easiest thing to do.

Paying somebody $60-70 is worth it, sometimes.

I still need to replace the 8k old tie rods on my car(cheapo's) that failed and get new ones on and get it aligned right

going sequential fire cop I'd want a cam trigger. apparently the 2.2 distributors are the most readily modded for this purpose:e-shrug:

Can I join? I was planning on working on my 240 on sat. I have a bunch of things I wanted to work on. I have a couple of instrument clusters for the 2-- models. One is cable driven speedo and the other is electric. I can bring them if anybody needs spare parts. I have jack stands, ramps and a bunch of tools that I'll be bringing....

10-09-2008, 09:44 PM
Oh yeah. I made a MAF signal modifier for my car that I showed Geoff and he mentioned that some of you guys might be interested. It allows you to control your A/F ratio by turning a knob and I guess it would be very useful if you are running E85 but I made it just to get better fuel efficiency. Right now I can only lean out the mix but I can make one that would allow you to make it richer if you want more power at the cost of gas mileage.
